With 7+ years in clinical genetics, Lakshita has counseled hundreds of families across prenatal genetics, hereditary cancer, rare diseases, and neurogenetics. She made history as the first Genetic Counselor of the Indian Defence Forces and currently heads the Genomics Division at Navigene Genetic Science. She practices at HCG Cancer Hospital, Wings Nova IVF, and through MyGeneScreen Clinic in Ahmedabad — and is the recipient of the Youth Icon in Genetics 2023 award.
